Hello! I’m back! Did you miss me? I just returned from my weekend in St. Louis with friends and now I’m ready to jump back on my Day in the Life Posts…
We are on Day 22 of 30 days, so if you’ve been sticking with me this far, thank you! If you’re new here I hope you’ll go back to Day 1 and start from the beginning.
I will write a full post on my trip to St. Louis, but for now let’s just say I had a great time with friends I only see once or twice per year. Last time we were all together was when they came to Holland for Tulip Time. You can read about it HERE and see our fun photo in front of Big Red. Unfortunately we didn’t do a great job of getting photos of us together this weekend. Four professional women with cameras – you’d think we’d be smarter than that. Oi. At least we got this one on the tram ride to the top of the Arch.
Be sure and catch up on day 21 HERE
Time Flies When You’re Having Fun!
The weekend flew by so quickly and was a welcome respite from everyday life. I’m back home and now it’s time to re-enter life as usual, so I’ll tell you about my day.
While I was gone, Dan and Tucker took on a big project… they gutted Tucker’s room and cleaned it up, sorted through his toys for what he was willing to get rid of, and built a new bunk bed from the remnants of the big boys’ old loft beds. It looks great, is sturdy as can be, and Tucker is thrilled with his new bed. Now he can have sleepovers on a bunk and that’s the coolest thing for an 11-year-old boy! I love having a handy hubby!

Back to work!
So today I had a lunchtime meeting for my internship for Leadership School. I’m one step closer to the rubber hitting the road with my new Instagram Channel for the Leadership School. I’m hoping the learning I’ll do here will help me with the marketing of my blog.
After my lunch meeting, I spent some time taking my final exam for the Old Testament class. I got my grade immediately and am sad to say I only scored a 68. I am happy to say that I really did know some things that I did not know before the class. Even though my score was lower than I’d like, I did take away some great knowledge.
Now evening is here and two of my big grownup kiddos are here with my grandson, so time to sign out so I can have some Gramma-time!
